Modular System Design

Years of experience working in the harsh environment of material handling plants has taught us that more is required from an ideal dust suppression systen than just having the best technology available. The following design standards have been incorporated into every system:
Ease of Installation
The various components necessary for a complete system are provided in "modules" that are universally designed so that the system can be installed easily by maintenance personal. The modules are then connected together by flexible conduit carrying water and air tubing or electrical interconnections. The only hard piping that is required is between the air and water source and the first module. This makes installation fast and inexpensive.
Flexibility
Because of the modular design, the system can easily be expanded by adding additional modules as your plant needs change. Since each module is universal in design, these modules can be moved and reused should the design of your plant change. In the case of portable plants, the entire system can easily be moved because there is very little hard piping.
Ruggedness
All control modules are fabricated from heavy galvanized steel with an industrial enamel finish and are specifically designed for outdoor use to protect the enclosed equipment against, rain, sleet and snow. The door is mounted to the enclosure by means of stainless steel hinge with a stainless steel pin for superior corrosion resistance. No controls or components are mounted on the outside of the panels or doors to protect against damage. Controls that are necessary to observe (Electrical Control Module) are mounted behind clear, weather and impact resistant window. Flexible, nonmetallic interconnecting conduit is impervious to harsh weather conditions, dust-tight and will allow impact without damage to internal tubing. The Fogger Module is armored to protect the nozzle against flying material and is constructed of 100% corrosion resistant materials.
Freeze-Protected
In cold weather climates when freezing of the air or water lines becomes a consideration, the system has been designed to incorporate integral freeze protection of both the control modules and the interconnecting conduit. Each control module has a socket for an optional panel heater and terminals for heat tracing and each interconnecting conduit has space for heat tracing. All heat tracing and control module heaters are regulated by a master thermostat and indicator in the Electrical Control Module. If freeze protection is added at a later date, the system is designed to be upgraded easily by purchasing kits for each module. In addition, all water lines are automatically air-purged of all water at the end of each cycle to protect lines from freezing in the event of a power failure.
